Basketball Recap: Charter Oak Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Jayden Harris and Xavier Green + How To Watch

Charter Oak's last matchup with Bishop Amat could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Chargers came up short against the Lancers, falling 70-44. Despite the defeat, Charter Oak had strong showings from Xavier Green, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points and five boards, and Jayden Harris, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Harris is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Bishop Amat's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Omar Cox-Labomme, who shot 50% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristian Chavira, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Charter Oak has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Bishop Amat, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
