Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairfield can now relate to. They took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anniston Bulldogs. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Anniston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anniston, they will challenge Montgomery Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.9 points per game this season.
