Soccer Game Preview: Fallbrook vs. Mt. Carmel

The Fallbrook Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fallbrook's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fallbrook's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Ramona 1-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Mt. Carmel was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of San Marcos by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Mt. Carmel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while San Marcos are ranked 40th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Carmel fell to 7-1-5. As for Fallbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-5.
