Baseball Recap: Marcellus Mustangs vs. Solvay Bearcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chittenango, Marcellus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Solvay Bearcats by a score of 12-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their one-run performance the match before.
The team relied heavily on Gavin Foy, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Kyler Kolm also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
