Baseball Game Preview: Theodore Bobcats vs. Saraland Spartans

For the second straight game, Theodore will face off against Saraland. The Bobcats will host the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Theodore has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Theodore lost 14-3 to Saraland on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Aidan Germany made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

The win was the fifth in a row for Saraland, bringing their record up to 19-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games.
