Basketball Recap: Francis W. Parker Comes Up Short

Francis W. Parker played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Southland College Prep 49-22. The Colonels were down 43-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jojo Husbeck and Ayla Pressman certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Husbeck posted seven points and nine rebounds, while Pressman scored no points. Those nine boards gave Husbeck a new career-high.

Francis W. Parker has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Southland College Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
