Meadowbrook has gone a perfect 5-0 against Cambridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Meadowbrook's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Cambridge has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Meadowbrook and Morgan have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Colts blew past the Raiders 11-1. Considering the Colts have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Addy Sichina made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Chloe Callahan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 contests. Another player making a difference was Sommer Ginn, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meadowbrook hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in nine consecutive matchups.
Brooke hit Cambridge with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bobcats lost 9-1 to the Bruins.
Cambridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laney Harper, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Meadowbrook, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Cambridge's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Meadowbrook has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Cambridge, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Meadowbrook's sizable advantage in that area, the Bobcats will need to find a way to close that gap.
