There's no place like home for South Tahoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Dayton Dust Devils, posting a 33-0 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 758th in California, while the Dust Devils are ranked 59th in Nevada).

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to South Tahoe's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Marcus Haven was the leader with two.

South Tahoe's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
