Miller Place had to settle for second on Friday, but Ian Moore sure wasn't going down easily. Moore didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Coming up, Moore and Miller Place will be playing at home against Smithtown East at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Moore's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Panthers' five-game streak of wins on the road.
