Baseball Recap: South Columbus Stallions vs. Whiteville Wolfpack

South Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whiteville Wolfpack. That's two games in a row now that South Columbus has lost by exactly three runs.

Walker Sullivan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaheim Dixon, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

South Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Whiteville, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

As of now, neither South Columbus nor Whiteville have any future games scheduled.
