Sultana is 9-1 against Serrano since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sultans will square off against the Diamondbacks at 3:15 p.m. Sultana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Sultana lost 13-1 to Summit on Friday. The Sultans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexis Mejia was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, Serrano came up short against Apple Valley on Thursday and fell 9-6. The Diamondbacks have struggled against the Sun Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Aubrey Malone and Cody Ramirez did some serious damage despite the final result: Malone went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Ramirez scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Autumn Pratt, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Sultana's record is now 11-7. As for Serrano, their record now sits at 8-8.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sultana hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Serrano struggles in that department as they've averaged .486. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Sultana's way against Serrano in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Sultana made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Sultans repeat their success, or do the Diamondbacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
