Basketball Game Preview: Douglas Tigers vs. Roseville Tigers

Douglas will take on Roseville in a tournament on Thursday. Douglas will be strutting in after a victory while Roseville will be coming in after a defeat.

Douglas took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hug as they made off with an 81-55 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 64-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Douglas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Tretton, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trey Snooks, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine steals.

Douglas was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hug only posted five.

Meanwhile, Roseville came up short against Rocklin on Tuesday and fell 74-62. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
