Softball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington came into this matchup off a tough 13-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Ketcham Indians by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Admirals have suffered against the Indians since April 6, 2023.

Arlington got a good showing from Chloe Adel, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Adel hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in April of 2025.

At the plate, Uree St Louis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ava Lorenz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Arlington is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. As for Ketcham, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Arlington will host Clarkstown South at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ketcham, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Scarsdale at 4:45 p.m. on the 27th.
