Soccer Recap: Lynden Christian Takes a Loss

If Lynden Christian was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Oak Harbor on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lyncs lost 6-1 to the Sehome Mariners on Saturday. Lynden Christian haven't had much luck with Sehome recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lynden Christian's goal came courtesy of Harvest Howell, who's now up to 14 this season.

Lynden Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Sehome, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynden Christian will challenge rival Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sehome is set to square off against their familiar foe Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
