Soccer Recap: South Stanly Comes Up Short at Home Against Albemarle

South Stanly unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Albemarle Bulldogs on Wednesday. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Rowdy Rebel Bulls struggled afterwards.

Albemarle now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Stanly will host Mount Pleasant at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Albemarle, they will challenge Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
