Charlotte hadn't done well against Orlando Christian Prep recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons were the clear victor by a 69-47 margin over the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors. The Fightin' Tarpons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Theus, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Theus is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Another player making a difference was Henry Thomas, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Charlotte has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Orlando Christian Prep, their record now sits at 7-10.

Charlotte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-48 win against Port Charlotte on the 18th. As for Orlando Christian Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-54 defeat against Harmony on the 21st.
