Volleyball Recap: Summit Gets the Win

Summit had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Apple Valley Sun Devils on Saturday. The SkyHawks were shut out 1-0 the last time they took on the Sun Devils, so the SkyHawks were just returning the favor.

Tylia Hemmans paced Summit's offense, picking up eight kills. Hemmans got some help from Rayleen Togagae and her ten assists. Hannah Reyes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Summit has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pacific on the 9th. As for Apple Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against San Gorgonio on the 9th.
