Basketball Recap: Hoisington Piles Up the Points Against Kinsley

Hoisington's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They breezed by the Kinsley Coyotes to the tune of 59-19. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their 23-point performance the contest before.

Hoisington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Crawford led the charge by going 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Tarlton, who posted ten points and five boards.

Hoisington was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

The victory got Hoisington back to even at 1-1. As for Kinsley, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Hoisington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-46 defeat against Larned on the 13th. As for Kinsley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ness City on December 20th.
