Basketball Game Preview: Waupaca Comets vs. New London Bulldogs

Waupaca hasn't had much luck against New London recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Waupaca Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the New London Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Waupaca is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Waupaca will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Little Chute, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Waupaca came out on top against Little Chute by a score of 54-46 on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Comets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Mustangs are ranked 65th).

Meanwhile, New London beat Menasha 63-54 on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Waupaca's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for New London, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
