Basketball Game Preview: Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats vs. Forest Park Rangers

Evansville Mater Dei and Forest Park are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but not for long. The Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats will head out to take on the Forest Park Rangers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evansville Mater Dei has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 21.

It was a proper cat-fight when Evansville Mater Dei duked it out withLoogootee on Saturday. Evansville Mater Dei took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loogootee.

Meanwhile, Forest Park didn't have too much trouble with Paoli on Saturday as they won 69-50.

Evansville Mater Dei's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Forest Park, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Evansville Mater Dei came up short against Forest Park when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 55-51. Can Evansville Mater Dei avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
