Volleyball Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short

Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upson-Lee Knights. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Upson-Lee, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Spalding will venture away from home to take on Griffin on Wednesday. As for Upson-Lee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lamar County on the 14th.
