League recap: Jefferson extends winning streak with victory over Los Angeles

Jefferson extended the longest winning streak in Southern this week by beating Los Angeles, 48-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Fremont took down Angelou 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

South Region 2's 6-foot-1 quarterback Ramon Gamez is the league leader in passing yards this season with 34. On the ground, Jefferson's Marcus Stamps has rushed for 600 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Stamps. The Jefferson star has one catches for 27 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Pathfinders take on Santee. As it stands, Fremont is in second, while the Falcons are in third.

The Pathfinders led Southern in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on the WolfPack
