Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic came out on top against Cardinal O'Hara on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Friars/Pandas took their contest against the Lions 6-1. The Friars/Pandas haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Johnny Ortegae spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
