Softball Recap: Dothan Gets the Win

Dothan won against Charles Henderson on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Rehobeth Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Jada Newman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Newman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted over her last ten games.

In other batting news, Dothan let Sara Harris and Brantlee McCarthy run wild. Harris went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while McCarthy went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI McCarthy has posted over her last eight matches.
