Football Recap: St. David's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

If San Manuel wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. David, they should've done a better job of containing Cedar Haynie. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Miners 63-6 thanks in part to Haynie, who rushed for 192 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

St. David's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Tot Pacheco with two sacks. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one sack the last nine times he's played. Logan Flake got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for St. David, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 60.0 points this season. As for San Manuel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
