Basketball Recap: Prattville Extends Winning Streak to Two

Prattville won the last time they faced Tallassee, and Xavier Dunn did his part to make sure it happened again. The Prattville Lions came out on top against the Tallassee Tigers by a score of 80-67 on Monday thanks in part to Dunn, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 28 points and seven rebounds. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Graham, who posted two points and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Prattville and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Tallassee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Prattville and Tallassee could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Prattville (ranked 313th) will meet Tuscaloosa County (ranked 113th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tallassee (ranked 375th) will meet Percy Julian (ranked 173rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
