Futures got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nikka Vinokurov out in front who had 56 digs and four assists. Vinokurov is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Svetlana Blyshchyk was another key player, getting 26 kills, 21 digs, four aces, and one block.
Futures was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin made easy work of Encina on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
