Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Eaton Reds walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Kent Denver on Saturday and snuck past 31-28. The victory was nothing new for Eaton as they're now sitting on three straight.

Eaton can attribute much of their success to Connor Davey, who threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns. Eaton also got help from Alex Loyd who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.

Eaton's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Kent Denver, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-1.

Eaton will head out on the road to face off against Pagosa Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pagosa Springs will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Kent Denver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
