Football Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 39-8 loss at the hands of the George Washington Patriots. The Commanders lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-0 score last time.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for George Washington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Kennedy has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Denver East on the 13th. As for George Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 40-0 defeat against Northfield on the 13th.
