Volleyball Recap: St. David's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

St. David came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Valley Union Blue Devils 3-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. David was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-9.

Austyn Hatch paced St. David's offense, picking up ten kills. Hatch got some help from Emma Hart and her 19 assists. Hart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

St. David's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Valley Union, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. David will face off against rival The Gregory School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Valley Union is set to square off against their familiar foe Baboquivari at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
