Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Churchville-Chili Saints. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Churchville-Chili, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will host Keshequa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Churchville-Chili and Spencerport will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
