Softball Recap: St. Maries Comes Up Short

St. Maries had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Lewiston Bengals by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

St. Maries saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenna Elliott, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Gracie Hemmah was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.

While St. Maries had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
