It's playoff time, and Deckerville had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Britton Deerfield Patriots on Saturday as they made off with a 28-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Brandon Salowitz produced another solid performance rushing for 168 yards and three TDs.

Deckerville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jesse Kubacki.

The victory (which was Deckerville's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. As for Britton Deerfield, they moved to 9-2 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Coming up, Deckerville will challenge St. Patrick on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 13.1, the Shamrocks 8.5) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Britton Deerfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 50-16 win against Pittsford on the 8th.
