Basketball Recap: Sierra Grande Panthers vs. Cotopaxi Pirates
Sierra Grande came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Sierra Grande was led to victory by Aron Ojeda and Jadyn Martinez. Ojeda shot 4-for-6 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds, while Martinez almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
