Soccer Recap: Clovis North Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

Clovis North had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Righetti Warriors on Friday. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Warriors are ranked 189th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clovis North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those 11 games. As for Righetti, they dropped their record down to 16-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Clovis North will host McLane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Righetti does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
