Sierra Canyon faced Mira Costa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trailblazers skirted past the Mustangs 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Trailblazers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Milly McGee, who had four digs and two blocks. McGee is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Sierra Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 32-3. As for Mira Costa, with the loss, they broke their 11-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-8.

Sierra Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Archbishop Mitty on the 4th. As for Mira Costa, they will face off against Palos Verdes at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
