Volleyball Recap: Higley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Higley lost against Perry back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Pumas. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucy Schmidt paced Higley's offense, picking up 17 kills. Schmidt got some help from Hayden Sherrill and her 23 assists. Sherrill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Higley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Perry, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Higley will host Red Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry, they will welcome Desert Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
