Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concord). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Wawasee Warriors 49-21. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Minutemen's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Warriors are ranked 219th).
Concord pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points over those games. As for Wawasee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
