After a string of six wins, Prescott's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Bradshaw Mountain Bears by a score of 5-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 9-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Prescott saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Tobin, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Jacob Patterson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Prescott's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Prescott has already played their next contest, a 20-1 win against Westview on the 4th. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Mohave on the 5th.
