Football Game Preview: Westside Patriots vs. Cross Creek Razorbacks + How To Watch

The Westside Patriots will challenge the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westside has six straight wins, Cross Creek has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Westside is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Howard: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Patriots blew the Huskies out of the water with a 49-7 final score. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 28.3 points per game.

Among those leading the charge was Jaylen Stone, who threw for 221 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

While losing is never fun, the Razorbacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Fightin' Irish are ranked 124th).

Westside's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Cross Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Westside against Cross Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-6 victory. In that contest, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 41-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
