Football Recap: Union Takes Down Ranked Powder Valley + How To Watch

Union faced Powder Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bobcats blew past the Badgers 36-6. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won four matchups by 30 points or more so far this season.

Union's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Davenport, who rushed for 146 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries. KJ Klebaum was another key back, gaining 135 total yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Union and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Powder Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will head out to take on Crane at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Powder Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Pine Eagle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Badgers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
