Basketball Recap: West Allis Central Comes Up Short

If West Allis Central was feeling good fresh off their 66-4 takedown of Hmong Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Allis Central Bulldogs were outmatched by the Pewaukee Pirates and fell 89-4. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Allis Central now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Pewaukee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Allis Central will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pewaukee at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Pewaukee will take on Homestead in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pewaukee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Homestead likes a good challenge.
