Volleyball Recap: Huss Gets the Win

While Huss's victory against Chambers wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Cougars on Monday. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Huss' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Chambers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huss will challenge Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chambers, they will face off against Garinger at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
