Baseball Recap: Westlake Has No Trouble Against North Olmsted

Westlake won the last time they faced North Olmsted and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Demons put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 13-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Nicholas Sherwood looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Jake Jung was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Brouillard, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Westlake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Westlake's record is now 4-2. As for North Olmsted, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
