Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Falls Short Against Ranked Sanford

St. Andrew faced Sanford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but St. Andrew's couldn't quite close it out.

St. Andrew's has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season. As for Sanford, they pushed their record up to 12-2-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither St. Andrew's nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
