Basketball Recap: Davis County Takes a Loss

Davis County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-27 loss at the hands of the Albia Blue Demons. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Blue Demons are ranked 92nd).

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Albia, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 18-5 record this season.

Davis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Albia, they will square off against Prairie City-Monroe on Wednesday.
