Mountain Valley hadn't done well against Cotopaxi recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wolves blew past the Pirates 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolves yet this season.

While Mountain Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.
