After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterling, Remington was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Sedgwick Cardinals with a sharp 47-25 win. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Cardinals are ranked 294th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Remington's victory bumped their record up to 12-5-2. As for Sedgwick, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
