Recap: Beatty Hornets vs. Round Mountain Knights

The Beatty Hornets lost against the Round Mountain Knights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Beatty had to suffer through a rough 70-24 loss at the hands of Round Mountain. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Beatty in their matchups with Round Mountain: they've now lost three in a row.

It was another big night for Keiran Swafford, who went 8 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 46 points and 2 assists for Round Mountain. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Swafford has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Bullington, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.

Beatty dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Round Mountain, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Beatty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Round Mountain, they will be playing at home against Spring Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (Spring Mountain is ranked 61st, while Round Mountain is ranked 64th).
