Recap: Ogden Tigers vs. Grantsville Cowboys

The Ogden Tigers struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Grantsville Cowboys had 12 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Ogden took a serious blow against the Cowboys, falling 64-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ogden has scored all season.

Megan Beus and Ruth Larsen certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Beus scored seven points, while Larsen scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. Larsen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grantsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Baylee Lowder, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Lowder is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last nine games she's played. Kodee Williams was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine steals.

Ogden has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Grantsville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Ogden will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morgan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 248 points over their last four games. As for Grantsville, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
